Icon’s Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are designed to provide outstanding off-road performance and a smooth, comfortable ride on the street. These shocks are specially tuned for each application, ensuring optimal length and damping settings. For piggyback and remote reservoir setups, Icon uses a 6061-billet aluminum manifold just below the top cap of the shock, creating an internal “Bump Zone” that adds 20% more damping force. This additional force prevents harsh bottom-outs and enhances suspension control during high-velocity compression. Like all Icon shock absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series with CDEV is fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The included Icon CDE Valve upgrade allows you to electronically fine-tune the ride from inside the vehicle for a more customizable experience.
