Like all Icon shock absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series is fully rebuildable and re-valvable. For piggyback and remote reservoir applications, Icon uses a unique 6061-billet aluminum manifold just below the shock’s top cap to create an internal “Bump Zone” that adds 20% more damping force. This extra force helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and improves suspension control during high-velocity compression. The Icon CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir, offering 10 levels of compression-damping force for more precise tuning.
