Icon’s Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to provide exceptional off-road performance and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are custom-configured for each application, with the perfect length and damping tune. Like all Icon shock absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series is fully rebuildable and re-valvable. For piggyback and remote reservoir applications, Icon uses a 6061-billet aluminum manifold just below the shock’s top cap to create an internal “Bump Zone,” which increases damping force by 20%. This added force helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and improves control during high-speed compression. The Icon CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir, providing 10 levels of compression-damping force adjustment.
