The Icon Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are designed to provide excellent off-road performance and a smooth, comfortable ride on the street. These shocks are specifically tuned for each vehicle, offering the ideal length and damping configuration. For piggyback and remote reservoir setups, Icon uses a 6061-billet aluminum manifold just below the top cap, creating an internal Bump Zone that increases damping force by 20%. This added force helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and improves suspension control during high-speed compression. Like all Icon shock absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series with CDEV is fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The included Icon CDE Valve upgrade also lets you electronically adjust the ride settings from inside the vehicle.
