Take your 2020-2022 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD to the next level with the Icon 78734 0-2″ Remote Reservoir Shock System with Billet UCA from RDP. These components are crafted from CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum, combining lightweight design with high-strength durability. The system features FK Rod End 3/4″ Heim joints for precise and smooth function throughout the entire travel range, with additional camber and caster adjustment for optimal alignment and handling. A key advantage of Icon’s upper control arms is their ability to increase wheel travel when paired with our 2.5 series shock absorbers, providing exceptional performance and ride quality for your GM HD.

The upper control arms incorporate Icon’s patented Delta Joint, a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint that merges the durability of a ball joint with the articulation characteristics of a traditional uni-ball. While standard uni-balls excel at minimizing bind, they are vulnerable to environmental exposure in daily driving. The Delta Joint addresses this with a zinc-plated housing for corrosion resistance, a tough grease seal to protect the internal components, and a metal-on-metal construction that allows for a greaseable design and noise-free operation. This unique design provides the durability of a uni-ball and the angularity of a ball joint, offering enhanced performance and longevity.

To ensure compatibility, Icon now offers GM 2500HD/3500HD upper control arms only as part of a complete system with Icon shock absorbers. The included Icon Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed for superior off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Custom-tuned for each application, these shocks are 100% rebuildable and re-valvable. In piggyback and remote reservoir applications, Icon’s innovative use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold, located a few inches below the top cap, creates an internal Bump Zone that provides an additional 20% damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and improves control during high-velocity compression. Remote reservoirs enhance shock performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping, keeping the shocks cooler during heavy use for optimal performance in any situation.
