The upper control arms feature Icon’s patented Delta Joint—a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint that merges the durability of a ball joint with the performance benefits of a traditional uni-ball. While uni-balls excel at articulation with minimal binding, they are often vulnerable to exposure from the elements in daily driving applications. The Delta Joint addresses this by incorporating a zinc-plated housing for corrosion resistance and a durable grease seal that protects the inner components from harmful elements. The metal-on-metal construction and greaseable design ensure long-lasting performance and a noise-free operation. The Delta Joint combines the strength of a ball joint with the angularity of a uni-ball, making it a more robust and reliable option for daily use.

For compatibility, Icon now offers GM 2500HD/3500HD upper control arms only as part of a complete system with Icon shock absorbers. This ensures the best performance and compatibility for your vehicle. The included Icon Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth, controlled ride on the street. Custom-tuned for each application in both length and damping, these shocks are 100% rebuildable and re-valvable. Icon’s unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone, providing an additional 20% damping force that helps prevent harsh bottom-outs and maintains control during high-velocity compression. Remote reservoirs optimize shock performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping and keeping the shocks cooler during heavy use. Additionally, the Icon CDC Valve is externally adjustable, offering 10 levels of compression damping force to customize your ride’s comfort and handling.
