The DFC Diesel Remanufactured Long Block Crate Engine serves as a top-notch replacement for the weary engine in your 2017-2019 6.7L Powerstroke, meticulously remanufactured to adhere to rigorous building standards. Engine Remanufacturing

DFC engines are usually matched with near identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. As a result, you get a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.

Cylinder Head

Each 6.7L Powerstroke Long Block comes standard with ARP or OptiTorque head studs (depending on availability). DFC replaces each valve guide with a new cast guide in every cylinder head. Instead of just a giving old valves re-grind, DFC installs all new valves from high quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC also machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material. DFC then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking, giving you a more durable cylinder head.

Warranty 

DFC engines are remanufactured by diesel enthusiasts and are built for diesel enthusiasts. To show their pride, DFC offers one of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry. Each DFC Long Block Engine comes standard with a 5-year, 100,000 mile warranty (Non-Commercial).

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items – Sold Separately):

Oil Cooler – highly recommended and mandatory if your past engine had a bearing failure.

Injectors – highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.

Turbocharger – recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if engine was dusted.

Water Pump – highly recommended if engine has over 125K.

Evans Waterless Coolant – recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover.

Application Note:

The specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process and backs their engines with an industry-leading 5-year 100,000 mile warranty.
