Icon’s 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks feature one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders, offering lighter weight, improved corrosion resistance, and a more uniform finish compared to traditional plated steel cylinders. Like all Icon shocks, these 2.5 Aluminum Series models are 100% rebuildable and 100% re-valvable, providing long-lasting durability and customization.

For piggyback and remote reservoir applications, Icon’s use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold just below the top cap of the shock creates an internal “Bump Zone.” This feature generates an additional 20% of damping force, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs and maintaining control of the suspension during high-velocity compression.

The Icon CDC Valve upgrade allows for easy, externally adjustable tuning. It restricts oil flow into the reservoir, offering 10 levels of compression-damping force ranges, so you can fine-tune the ride to your specific preferences.
