Icon’s tubular upper control arms are constructed from CNC-bent 1026 DOM steel tubing, then powder-coated with a semi-gloss black finish for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. These upper control arms feature built-in caster correction for optimal alignment, providing confidence-inspiring handling. Paired with Icon 2.0 or 2.5 series shock absorbers, they offer a nearly 50% increase in wheel travel, greatly improving performance and ride quality for your GM HD truck.

The upper control arms are equipped with Icon’s patented Delta Joint, a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint combining the durability of a ball joint with the performance benefits of a traditional uni-ball. While uni-balls are great for articulation with minimal bind, they are vulnerable to exposure in daily-driven applications. The Delta Joint features a zinc-plated housing for corrosion resistance and a tough grease seal to protect its internal components. The metal-on-metal construction and greaseable design ensure long-lasting performance and noise-free operation. The Delta Joint’s unique design offers the robustness of a ball joint with superior angularity compared to typical ball joints.

Icon now offers GM 2500HD/3500HD upper control arms only as part of complete systems with Icon shock absorbers. The included Icon Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Series shocks are specifically tuned for each application, delivering outstanding off-road performance and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, ensuring durability and long-term performance. The 2.5 IR Series shocks offer a larger diameter and increased oil volume for better ride quality and heat dissipation compared to the standard 2.0 Aluminum Series IR shocks.
