Icon’s tubular upper control arms are made from CNC-bent 1026 DOM steel tubing, then powder-coated with a semi-gloss black finish for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. Engineered with built-in caster correction, these arms ensure optimal alignment and provide confidence-inspiring handling. A key advantage of the Icon upper control arms is the nearly 50% increased wheel travel when paired with the 2.0 or 2.5 series shock absorbers, translating to superior performance and ride quality for your GM HD truck.

These upper control arms are equipped with Icon’s patented Delta Joint—a heavy-duty high-angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uni-ball. Unlike standard uni-balls that are vulnerable to the elements, the Delta Joint features a zinc-plated housing and a tough grease seal, ensuring corrosion resistance and extending the joint’s lifespan with noise-free operation. This joint is capable of greater angularity than typical ball joints, making it the ideal choice for off-road and everyday applications.

To ensure compatibility, Icon’s upper control arms are sold as part of a complete system with Icon shock absorbers. The included V.S. 2.5 Series shocks are tuned specifically for your application, offering outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. These shocks are 100% rebuildable and re-valvable. Icon’s use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold beneath the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone, providing an additional 20% damping force for better control and reduced harsh bottom-outs. The Icon CDC Valve, an externally adjustable valve, offers 10 levels of compression damping force for ultimate ride customization.
