This head is a new casting with all new OEM valves and springs, and an O-Ring to keep the compression in the cylinder where it belongs. The factory Turbo and the DPF on these engines create a high backpressure known as Drive Pressure this equates to blown head gaskets. The O-Ring is the cure to the problem.
