Replace the worn or damaged flex plate on your Dodge Ram with an XDP Stock+ Series Flex Plate XD642 and get a more capable flex plate. The stock flex plate in your truck is designed to withstand moderate to heavy-duty towing and mild HP upgrades.

Heavier loads, additional horsepower, and frequent towing can tax the flex plate which can result in heat spots from the torque converter. Through enough heat cycles, these heat spots can eventually crack and even cause the flexplate to break apart.

The Stock+ Series Flex Plate features a cold-rolled steel construction with a 4mm thick center plate. This helps provide a more solid foundation and absorbs more stress from the drivetrain compared to the factory flexplate.

In addition, the ring gear is robotically cold-welded for accuracy and allows this flex plate to meet SFI specifications.

• Some trucks may be equipped with one or two shims or spacers on either side of the OEM flex plate.
• These shims or spacers will not be needed for installation of the XDP flex plate as it is thicker than the OEM flex plate.
• Removal of any shims or spacers is necessary to ensure good thread engagement of the flex plate bolts to the crankshaft.
